2024 Leadership Summit: Evolution of Leadership & Celebration of New Name

Arlington, VA – The Leadership Center of Arlington’s annual Leadership Summit on May 16, 2024, will highlight the evolution of leadership.

Leadership Summit

This half-day leadership development event at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association will run from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Speakers will include:

  • Keynote: Eugene Robinson, Pulitzer-prize winning Columnist, The Washington Post, and Political Analyst, MSNBC
  • Evolution of Team Culture and Wellness Panel
    • Dr. George Watts, Chairman, Top Line Talent
    • Laurie Blazek, President and CEO, Top Line Talent
    • Moderator: Stephen Leach, Disney Entertainment/National Geographic
  • Evolution of Thinking Panel
    • Tony Orlando, GM Speciality Sales, Google Public Sector
    • Catherine Meloy, President and CEO, Goodwill of Greater Washington
    • Tara Palacios, Director, BizLaunch, Arlington Economic Development
    • Moderator: Brian Kropp, World 50

The Leadership Summit is for established and emerging leaders in the greater Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area. It also serves as the culmination of the Leadership Center of Arlington’s Lead and Ignite Classes of 2024, as well as Leadership Alexandria. This year’s class speakers are:

  • Jamari Green, Deloitte, Ignite Class of 2024
  • Wendy Leedy, Amazon Web Services, Lead Class of 2024
  • Elijah Griffin, Sr., Leadership Alexandria Class of 2024
