An award-winning and accomplished leader, Tim Kime is passionate about transforming people, organizations and communities.   He is the President of Kime Leadership Associates offering executive coaching, meeting facilitation, motivational speaking, and team-building for organizations of all sizes.  He is a certified Expert Professional Life Coach.  His clients include Children’s National Medical Center, Goodwill of Greater Washington, Leadership Montgomery, Covenant House Washington, DC Promise Neighbor Initiative and the Campagna Center.

Tim combined his passion for transforming items and bringing out the potential in people with the launch of his Art of Possibilities Workshops in 2015.  Participants “upcycle” second-hand items into one-of-a-kind works of art while creating action items for their next accomplishments.  Part team-building, part creative time, part life coaching, Goodwill of Greater Washington, VisArts Rockville, Leadership Montgomery and Covenant House Washington have hosted these engaging sessions.  Tim’s transformed “functional works of art” pieces were featured in the first-ever Art of Transformation Exhibit held at PEPCO’s Edison Place Gallery in partnership with Goodwill and held in 2016.  His “Let’s Sit Together Awhile” bench was commissioned to be part of Dance Place’s 8th Street Arts Park opened in 2016.

As the former CEO of two impactful and important nonprofit organizations focused on improving Greater Washington, he has an extensive track record of leading, guiding, supporting and connecting leaders, launching programs, developing boards of directors, securing financial resources, rebranding and expanding visibility.

Tim is the former President & CEO of Leadership Greater Washington, which connects and inspires collaboration among top, senior level leaders from DC-area business, government and nonprofits.  As the organization’s CEO for nearly 15 years, he raised its stature in the community by delivering excellent and engaging programs and giving leaders a safe place to forge life-long connections.  He is also for the former President & CEO of the Washington Regional Alcohol Program, a nationally recognized and model drunk driving prevention coalition.  Most well-known for its SoberRide program, a free holiday cab service, Tim dramatically expanded its impact ensuring hundreds of would-be drunk drivers got home safely.

Tim is the Strategic Planning Committee Chair and Board Member of Life Pieces to Masterpieces, is Board of Trustees President for his church, Unity of Washington, DC, Board Member of Joe’s Movement Emporium and is an Advisory Committee Member for Covenant House, Washington.  Tim is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
