Jan Day Gravel is the Founder and Managing Director of Janus Development Group, specializing in leadership and organization development to unleash human potential. A sought after executive coach, keynote speaker, and organizational consultant, her passion is to support individuals, organizations, and communities to create a path to their desired future and achieve success as they define it. Working with organizations at every level from Fortune 500 corporations to entrepreneurs, local and federal governments, not-for-profit and communities, Jan has coached individuals and teams to address leadership and management issues and develop a plan they can implement to reach their goals.
Jan has over twenty-five years of experience in tapping into the strengths of leader’s brains. Her work in Emergenetics®, how one is born genetically wired with a tendency to think and behave in certain ways, has enabled thousands of individuals to “lead with their brain in mind” and increase not only their capacities but those of their team and organizations to get the results they desire.
Jan earned her Masters of Arts in Conflict Resolution with an emphasis on building effective coalitions from Antioch University. In addition, she has a Leadership Coaching certificate from Georgetown University. Jan holds a Professional Coach Certification from the International Coach Federation. She is a member of the National Speaker’s Association
Passionate about supporting the leadership development of others, she writes a monthly column, the Leading Edge, for the 800 members of the Leadership Arlington community. Fascinated with culture in organizations and throughout the globe, Jan has served as a guide on leadership pilgrimages to Egypt and New Mexico. Her most recent “bucket list” trips were to Peru, Bolivia, and Havana.
