Nancy White

Nancy White is president and executive director of Arlington Free Clinic, a nonprofit organization that provides free health care to low-income, uninsured adults through the generosity of volunteers and donors. In this clinic, 32 staff members and over 550 volunteers provide primary and specialty care, mental health services, physical therapy, pharmacy and dental care for more than 1600 Arlingtonians each year.
Nancy is a physical therapist by background and established Arlington Free Clinic’s physical therapy program in 2002 in partnership with Marymount University. Prior to joining AFC in 2015, Nancy was Executive Vice President for Professional Affairs at the American Physical Therapy Association. Before this, she practiced as a physical therapist for 30 years in Northern Virginia.
Nancy received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University. Nancy has been a resident of Arlington since 1988 and lives in the Lyon Village neighborhood with her husband, John Bryan.
