Arlington Cares

Arlington, VA – Volunteer Arlington, a public-private partnership between the Leadership Center of Arlington and Arlington County, will hold its annual Arlington Cares event on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the NRECA.

This celebration of volunteerism recognizes annual Volunteer Award winners and people who volunteered for 100 hours or more with an individual organization between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024. Joseph Olmo of NBC4 Washington will emcee the event.

“This year’s honorees remind us all of the importance that individuals and groups can make when they take the time to care for others,” said Lisa Fikes, President and CEO of the Leadership Center of Arlington. “There is something to learn from each of their stories, and we hope that people of all ages will join us to celebrate their service and be inspired.”
