Mark S. Ingrao, CCP, CAE, is the President & CEO of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Formerly, he was President of AspenStrategies, LLC. Prior to that, he was VP of Government Affairs for the National Apartment Association (NAA), VP of Government Affairs-VA for the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA), an Associate with the executive recruiting firm of Heidrick & Struggles, Manager of Recruitment for the National Business Development Practice of Arthur Andersen, LLP., and held various positions at Washington Gas including Public Affairs Area Manager and Manager of Compensation.
Mr. Ingrao is active in several professional and community organizations. Most recently he was appointed by Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell as a member of the University of Mary Washington Board of Governors. He is a member of John Marshall Bank’s Arlington Advisory Board. Mr. Ingrao is past Chairman of the Board of Regents for Leadership Arlington and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, and is currently on Leadership Arlington’s Board. He is a member of the Initiative for Public Art – Reston’s(IPAR) Board of Directors. Additionally, Mr. Ingrao served on various boards including the Community Residence, Inc., Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, Arlington Free Clinic, Virginia Public Access Project as well as CrisisLink’s Advisory Board. He was appointed by the Fairfax Board of Supervisors to the Fairfax Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board in 2002.
In 1981, Mr. Ingrao received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Mary Washington. He is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
